Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born February 22, 1983. She is an American comedian and actress. She was the 2008 winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing and went on to host the dating show syndicated to TBS Excused as well as the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.
Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 on her own late-night talk show. 5 As of 2022, she's released six comedy specials on Netflix. The sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show premiered on Netflix in April 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was the daughter of an Jewish family. [6] She was born in New York City to Jewish parents. The family relocated to Dallas as an infant. She was a student at Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. In there, she learned Spanish, and was part the school's improvisation team.
Shlesinger appeared on ComedySportz Dallas. She also studied at the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was also a part-time participant in Semester at Sea. She transferred to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts in which she pursued a major in film, honed her editing and writing skills, and was a part of one of the campus' comedy sketch groups, Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

Shlesinger completed her college degree and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was among the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
