Kim Cattrall

 

Kim Victoria Cattrall, born 21 August 1956, is a British-Canadian actress. Her character in the role of Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) brought her five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations. In 2002, she also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the similar role on the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010).



 



 Cattrall's debut film was Rosebud (1975) in the film Rosebud (1975), and she went on to play several roles on TV. In films like Ticket To Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984), City Limits (855) and Big Trouble in Little China (1986), Mannequin(87), Mannequin) (1987), Masquerade in 1988), Midnight Crossing in 1989, as well as The Return of the Musketeers in 1989. She became known as a household name.
